Customers who contract for Iron Mountain’s Vault Pickup Service are able to place a pickup order utilizing this service.   Vault pickup service provides direct transport of tapes between the customer site and a secure Iron Mountain vault by a dedicated Iron Mountain vehicle that does not make any other stops or carry assets belonging to other customers. 
A customer that contracts for vault pickup service is able to create a pickup order that is limited to vault pickup, or a pickup order that includes both vault pickup and regular box and file pickup.
Requesting vault pickup service is similar to entering a pickup order
  1. Select Records Management | Pickups, Add Records | Quick Pickup Order. The Quick Pickup screen opens.
  2. Select a Customer

NOTE:  Changing the customer at any time during the pickup order process will remove items that you have added to your cart and clear entries on the Quick Pickup screen.

  1. If this pickup order includes both vault pickup service and box/file pickup, type the number of New and Refile items for each type of file or box to be picked up.
  2. Click the Vault Pickup Service checkbox located at the bottom of the list of box/file types.
  3. Click Add to Cart.  Iron Mountain Connect Records Management increments your cart by one for a vault pickup order.  If this order also includes box/file pickup, your cart is incremented by one for each type of new AND refile item on the order.  For example, your cart is incremented by one whether you add a single standard carton or four standard cartons.

NOTE: Items remain in your cart from session to session until you complete an order or manually remove the item.
